Anna Williams

Anna Jean "Ann" Williams, age 75, passed away at the Woodhaven Care Center in Ellinwood, Kansas on Friday, March 29, 2013. She was born on September 28, 1937 in Lane County, Kansas, the daughter of Orval and Minnie Hurst Pinkston. In 1956 she moved to Scott County, Kansas from Lane County, Kansas and then Ellinwood, Kansas in October of 2011. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the Gospel Fellowship Church in Shallow Water, Kansas. She was also a member of the Lakeview EHU, Gideons and was an Awana Club Leader. On January 3, 1956 she married Kenneth Jean Williams in Garden City, Kansas. He passed away on September 13, 1992 in Lane County, Kansas. Survivors include her One Son - Gary & Julie Williams of Scott City, Kansas, Four Daughters - Carol & Robert Sieker of Chase, Kansas, Dixie Payne of Bixby, Oklahoma, Vicky & Jimmy Teague of Arlington, Texas, Sondra Williams of Greenwood Village, Colorado, One Sister - Pat & Delbert Anderson of Julesburg, Colorado, Eleven Grandchildren and Nine Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents and Husband - Jean. Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013 with the Rev. Don Williams presiding. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Gospel Fellowship Church or The Gideons % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be atPrice & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday. The Family will be present from 6-8pm on Tuesday to receive friends.
