Anna Dunham-Callen

Anna Mae Dunham Callen, age 91, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother passed away on November 25, 2008 in Hemet, California. She was born May 18, 1917 at Eureka, South Dakota, the daughter of Raymond L. & Katherine Mae Pudwell Benedict. She was a homemaker and had been a nurse at Greeley County Hospital in the 60's and 70's before moving to Teague, Texas, Corvallis, Oregon and finally to Hemet, California. She was a member of the first Baptist Church in Tribune, Kansas as well as holding a membership at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in both Corvallis, Oregon and Hemet, California. In 1935 she married Howard Cecil Dunham. He passed away in 1969. She later married Dewitt Callen in 1972. He passed away in 1985. Anna Mae's survivors include- A daughter and her husband- Myrna and Neil Dobbin- Hemet, California A sister- Patricia Edmiston- Corvallis, Oregon Eight grandchildren, Ten great grandchildren She was preceded in death by a son, Charles Ray Dunham in 1972, a daughter, Sue C Stahlecker in 1976, one brother and one sister . Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. (M.D.T.) Saturday, January 31, 2009 at the First Baptist Church in Tribune, Kansas with Mr. Darwin Hoffman officiating. Inurnment will be in Greeley County Cemetery.
