Ann Nelson

Ann P. Nelson, age 92, passed away on Monday, January 16, 2012 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on January 28, 1919 in Logan, Kansas, the daughter of John & Martha Vielguth Wallgren. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since the 1930's, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Rebekah Lodge both of Scott City, Kansas. On December 8, 1944 she married Bernarr Nelson in Scott City, Kansas. He passed away on September 23, 1998 in Scott City, Kansas Other Survivors her Daughter - Barb & Jeff Wilkinson of Scott City, Kansas, One Sister - Mildred Hance of Hays, Kansas, Two Grandsons - Brian & Becky Wilkinson of Wichita, Kansas, Jan & Kim Wilkinson of Scott City, Kansas and Five Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Five Sisters and Two Brothers. Funeral Services will be held at the First Baptist Church in Scott City, Kansas at 2:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2012 with Pastor Kyle Evans presiding. Memorials may be given to the First Baptist Church Or Pence Community Church % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Friday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
