Anita F. Lausch, age 89, passed away on Monday, April 6, 2020, at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on November 11, 1930, in Council Grove, Kansas, the daughter of Raymond and Velma F. Fisher Houck. In 1959 Anita moved to Scott City, Kansas from Great Bend, Kansas and then around 1995 she moved to Garden City, Kansas. She was a bookkeeper.
She was a member of the First Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas and was a past member of Eastern Star in Scott City, Kansas.
On February 16, 1952, she married Roy E. Lausch in Russell, Kansas. He passed away on March 5, 1986, in Scott City, Kansas.
Survivors include her One Son - Kyle & Gena Lausch of Scott City, Kansas, Four Daughters - Lavona & Jim Kuhn of Paris, Texas, Sherrie & Charles Berry of Scott City, Kansas, Robin Henderson of Scott City, Kansas, Lynn & Mike Palen of Omaha, Nebraska, Thirteen Grandchildren, and Twenty Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband - Roy Lausch, One Daughter - Karen Lausch, and Two Brothers - Jerry Houck and Ronnie Houck.
Due to the current virus situation, Private Family Graveside services will be held
later this week with Steve Payne presiding.
Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
Memorials In Lieu of Flowers can be made to the Anita Lausch Memorial Fund in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home.
