Garden City, Kansas Angel Luis Ortiz Rodriguez, age 23, died Sunday, January 24, 2010, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Garden City, Kansas. He was born on February 8, 1986 in Garden City, Kansas the son Jose L. and Rebecca M. Ortiz Rodriguez. He was a carpenter and roofer and had been a lifetime resident of Garden City, Kansas. He was baptized in the catholic faith, had attended the Word of Life Church in Garden City, Kansas and enjoyed making music. Survivors Include: His Companion, Olivia M. Hinojos of the home; One Brother, Beto R. Ortiz of Lubbock, Texas; One Sister, Lilianabel L. Ortiz of Lubbock, Texas; Half-Sister, Fabiloa Rodriguez of Garden City, Kansas; Grandmother, Erlenda Sertuche Ortiz of Lubbock, Texas; Nephew, Angelo R. Ortiz of Lubbock, Texas; One Niece, Natalie L. Fiero of Lubbock, Texas and Numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins. Memorial Services will be held at 10:30am on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at the Word of Life Church in Garden City with Pastor Marty Younger presiding. Interment will take place at a later date in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Angel Rodriguez Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.
