Garden City, Kansas Andrew Emilio Chavez, 24 day old son of Andres Chavez and Yolanda Calderon, died Friday, September 19, 2008 at the Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kansas. He was born August 26, 2008 in Garden City, Kansas. He was baptized in the catholic faith. Survivors include: Mother, Yolanda Calderon of the home; Father, Andres Chavez of Garden City, Kansas; Twin Brother, Alexander E. Chavez of the home; Grandparents, Joe & Pam Barrientos of Garden City, Kansas, Senovio & Raquel Chavez of Garden City, Kansas and George Calderon; Great-Grandparents, Adeline "Cathy" Arellano of Garden City, Kansas, Emelia Cervantes of Mexico and Julian & Juanita Gonzales of Garden City, Kansas. Numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by two Great-Grandfathers, Four Great-Great-Grandparents and several Great Aunts & Uncles. A Funeral Mass will be said at 10:00am on Thursday, September 25, 2008 at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Garden City with Father Trong Tran presiding. Friends may call from 1:00pm-6:00pm on Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas with the Vigil & Rosary Services to follow at 7:00pm at the Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas. The family requests memorials be given to the Andrew E. Chavez Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
