Alonzo Nevares

Alonzo Nevares, age 12, passed away on August 26, 2023, in Pueblo County, Colorado from an automobile accident.  He was born on April 19, 2011, in Aurora, Colorado, the son of Bobby Nevares and Gabrielle Kitch.

Alonzo was an enthusiastic fan of football, and basketball and an active swimmer. At a young age, he joined the USA swim team and enjoyed competing with his team, earning numerous ribbons and trophies. 

He is survived by his parents Bobby Nevares of Aurora, Colorado, and Gabrielle Kitch of Dighton, Kansas, and his three sisters Ariella Nevares, Luna Nevares, and Lilah Nevares.

Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, Kansas, 67871.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, September 8, 2023, at the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas with Fr. Louis Trung Hoang presiding.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Price & Sons Funeral Home, 401 S. Washington St., Scott City, Kansas, 67871. 

Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
