Alice Seals

Alice M. Seals, age 89, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on August 16, 1922 in Loco, Oklahoma, the daughter of Merle Thomas & Iva Lee Boren Howerton. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1960 moving from Liberal, Kansas, she was a homemaker. On April 24, 1943 she married Elmer Doyle Seals in Wichita Falls, Texas. He passed away on May 6, 1975 in Scott City, Kansas. Survivors include her One Daughter - Judy Stegall of Scott City, Kansas, Three Granddaughters - Alicia & Nick Buehler of Scott City, Kansas, Kandi Trujillo of Grand Island, Nebraska, Marni & Scott Phillips of Topeka, Kansas, Two Sisters - Wanda & Sam Fosdick of Fowler, Colorado, Typee Partney of Fowler, Colorado, Two Brothers - Bob Howerton of Eads, Colorado, Tom & Connie Howerton of Colorado Springs, 8 Great Grandchildren - Brendan Eggleston of Scott City, Kansas, Kathryn Buehler of Scott City, Kansas, Jaclyn Buehler of Scott City, Kansas, Alysan Buehler of Scott City, Kansas, Treyston Trujillo of Grand Island, Nebraska, Traxen Trujillo of Grand Island, Nebraska, Corrbin Phillips of Topeka, Kansas, Cannon Phillips of Topeka, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her Parents and Husband. Funeral Services will be at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 30, 2012 with Garee Geist officiating. Memorials may be given to the Scott County Health Department or Scott County Library % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Inurnment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Saturday and 1:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
