Alfredo Monterroza

Garden City, Kansas Alfredo Monterroza, age 78, died Monday, July 25, 2011 at the Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita, Kansas. He was born on November 2, 1932 in El Salvador, the son of Marcial & Juana Mendez Monterroza. A resident of Garden City since 2010, moving from Los Angeles, California, he was a self-employed gardener. Alfredo was a member of the Christian faith. In 1964, he married Vicenta Garcia in El Salvador. She survives. Other Survivors Include: Four Sons, Rigoberto Flores of Los Angeles, California, Porfirio Flores of Los Angeles, California, Nicolas Flores of El Salvador, and Carlos Monterroza of the home; Three Daughters, Telma and Rosa Monterroza, and Roxana Membrano, all of the home; Seven Grandchildren and Two Great-Grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Friday, July 29, 2011 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas with Pastor Fray Membrano officiating. Friends may call from 1:00-5:00pm on Thursday at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City. Interment will be held at Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas. The family requests memorials be given to the Alfredo Monterroza Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.
