Alan Landwehr

Holcomb, Kansas Alan Michael Landwehr, age 45, died Friday, June 17, 2010 in Garden City, Kansas. He was born October 22, 1965 in Winfield, Kansas the son of Edward M. and Ruth H. Chisham Landwehr. In 1989, Alan graduated from Emporia State University with a Bachelors degree in secondary education. A resident of Holcomb, Kansas since 1996, he was an insurance agent for the Farmers Insurance Group. He enjoyed fishing, camping, hunting, boating and cooking. On August 20, 1988 he married Denise Dawson in Emporia, Kansas. She survives. Survivors Include: One Daughter, Madison J. Landwehr of the home; One Son, Alan "Mitch" Landwehr of the home; His Mother, Ruth Landwehr of Winfield, Kansas; One Brother, Wayne (& Sue) Landwehr of Cherryvale, Kansas; Five Sisters, Connie (& Ronnie) Rausch of Douglass, Kansas; Shirley Walker of Winfield, Kansas; Marjorie (& Terry) Landwehr-Brown of Douglass, Kansas; Cathy Landwehr (& Brian) Bailey of Wichita, Kansas and Annette Landwehr of Winfield, Kansas; Nineteen Nephews & Nieces and Twenty-Six Great-Nephews & Nieces. He was preceded in death by his father. Memorial Services will be held at 11:00am, Friday, June 24, 2011 @ the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas. There will be no calling times at the funeral home. Interment will be held at a later date. The family requests memorials be given to Children's Education Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
