Aileen Ross

Aileen A. Ross, age 97, passed away on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on May 9, 1915 in Scott County, Kansas, the daughter of Albert A. and Irma Collins French. A longtime resident of Denver, Colorado, she moved to Scott City, Kansas in 2004. Aileen was the owner, operator and instructor of Valley Vista Beauty School in Arvada, Colorado as well as the owner and operator of her own beauty shop. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Scott City, Kansas. On March 10, 1956 she married George W. "Bud" Ross in Baton, New Mexico. He passed away on July 23, 1977 in Lakewood, Colorado. Survivors include her One Son - Allan & Cheryl Keyse of Scott City, Kansas, One Grandson - Greg Keyse of Denver, Colorado and One Granddaughter - Andi Keyse of Denver, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband - Bud Ross and Two Sisters - Mildred Conine and LaVerne McClellan. Graveside Memorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m., May 9, 2013 at the Scott County Cemetery. Memorials may be given to the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. Inurnment will be held in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas There will be no calling times.
