Vivian A. Ludowese, age 82, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on January 10, 1927 in Dumont, Minnesota, the daughter of Franklin and Frances Wenthold Kipp. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1961 moving from Graceville, Minnesota, she was a homemaker.
Her memberships include St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Joseph Alter Society, and Worthwhile Workers EHU all of Scott City, Kansas.
On October 11, 1949 she married Floyd "Jack" Ludowese in Graceville, Minnesota. He passed away on March 19, 2002 in Scott City, Kansas.
Survivors include her Five Sons - Gary Ludowese of Shallow Water, Kansas; Thomas Ludowese of Scott City, Kansas; Peter Ludowese of Kearney, Nebraska; Richard Ludowese of Sedgwick, Kansas; Glen Ludowese of Scott City, Kansas; Four Daughters - Kathy Huston of Great Bend, Kansas; Jeanne Howard of Scott City, Kansas; Wanda Johnson of Halstead, Kansas; Peggy Harms of Lakin, Kansas; One Brother - Roger Kipp of Graceville, Minnesota; One Sister- Viola Pullis of St. Cloud, Minnesota; Eighteen Grandchildren and Sixteen Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, One Son â Michael Ludowese, One Brother and Three Sisters.
Vigil Services will be held at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas at 7:00 p.m. Friday, July 31, 2009 with the Fr. Benjamin Martin presiding.
Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 1, 2009 with the Fr. Warren Stecklein presiding.
Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
Memorials may be given to the Scott County Hospital or Park Lane Nursing Home % Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday and 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday @ Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
