Sherry Stalter

Garden City, Kansas Sherry Lynn Stalter, age 61, died Wednesday, June 1, 2011 at her home in Garden City, Kansas. She was born on September 7, 1949 in Garden City, KS, the daughter of Donald Edward and Helen Louise Johnson Hoyt. A lifetime resident of Garden City, she had been a hairdresser for 34 years. On July 25, 1968, she married Bobby G. Stalter at Garden City, Kansas. He survives. Other Survivors Include: One Daughter, Bobbie Lynn (& Todd) Murphy of Hays, Kansas; Her Mother, Helen Louise Hoyt of Garden City, Kansas; One Brother, Jim Edward (& Patty) Hoyt of San Ramon, California; Four Grandchildren, Maddison, Cole, Chance & McKenna Murphy of Hays, Kansas; Sister-In-Law, Susan (& Tom) Barb of Garden City, Kansas; Two Nephews, Mitch Hoyt & Josh Jacka; Two Nieces, Carly Hoyt & Kara Barb; She was preceded in death by her father and a daughter, Christine Yvonne Stalter. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am on Monday, June 6, 2011 at the Church Of The Brethren in Garden City, KS with Pastors John Elder and Brad Kirk presiding. Interment will be held in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas. The family requests memorials be given to the Sherry Stalter Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
