Robert A. Rein

Robert A. Rein, age 81, passed away on Thursday, December 16, 2021, in Scott City, Kansas.  He was born on July 13, 1940, in Sugar City, Colorado, the son of Henry and Marie Herman Rein Jr.  A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1975 moving from Sugar City, Colorado, he was an advertising salesman for the Hi-Plains Journal and B&B Advertising.

He was a member of the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Scott City, Kansas.

On September 11, 1964, he married Shirley J. Hasty in Roswell, New Mexico.  She passed away on October 7, 2013, in Scott City, Kansas.

Survivors include his Two Daughters - Charlene Murphy of Paola, Kansas, Teresa & Scott Noll of Scott City, Kansas, One Brother - Alvin Rein of Fowler, Colorado, One Sister - Janice Rogers of Fowler Colorado, and Five Grandchildren - Legacy Murphy of Paola, Kansas, Amelia Noll, Alivia Noll, Avery Noll and Addison Noll of Scott City, Kansas.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, One Son - Bryan Rein, One Brother - Ronnie Rein, and One Sister Eleanor Schiro.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 am on Saturday, January 29, 2022, at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas with Steve Payne presiding.

Inurnment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas.
