Mary Morton

Garden City, Kansas Mary Katherine Morton, age 57, passed away on Friday, September 19, 2008 at her home in Gray County, Kansas. She was born on September 21, 1950 in Sacramento, California, the daughter of George and Mary Theresa Sandoval Arthur. She was a homemaker and had been a resident of Gray County since 2004. They had lived on a farm south of Garden City for 32 years moving there from Phillipsburg, Kansas. She was a member of the Word Of Life Church of Garden City, Kansas, a lifetime member of American Quarter Hourse Association and a Partner with Joyce Meyers and Kenneth Copeland Ministries. On July 13, 1970 she married Ralph Morton in Reno, Nevada. He survives. Other Survivors Include: One Daughter, Mary Lynn Morton of Ingalls, Kansas; One Son, Lance A. Morton of Nemaha, Nebraska; One Daughter in Law, Katy R. Morton of Nemaha, Nebraska; One Grandson, Logan W. Morton of Nemaha, Nebraska; Parents, George and Mary Theresa Arthur of Cotati, California; One Brother, Paul Arthur of Santa Rosa, California and Four Sisters, Mary Margaret Cassero of Santa Rosa, California, Susan Sullivan of Cloverdale, California, Lisa Arthur of Santa Rosa, California and Julie Piazza of Cloverdale, California Memorial Services will be held at 3:00pm on Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008 at the Word of Life Church in Garden City with Pastor Lenoir Randle presiding. Private Family Interment will take place at a later date. Memorials may be given to the Mary Katherine Morton Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City, Kansas.
