Larry W. Holiman, age 67, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2009 at his home in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on September 25, 1941 in Branson, Missouri, the son of Benjamin J. and Ruby L. Woods Holiman. A United States Air Force Staff Sergeant veteran, he was a resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1944 moving from McPherson, Kansas and was a custodian at the Scott City Court House for 13 years. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Scott City, Kansas. On January 25, 1974 he married Sheryl A. Fraker in Scott City, Kansas. She survives. Survivors include his Wife - Sheryl A. Holiman of Scott City, Kansas, One Son - Derek Holiman of Garden City, Kansas, Two Daughters - Vanessa Ault-McCoy of Seattle, Washington, Dynel Stinemetz of Lincoln, Nebraska, One Brother - James Holiman Nashville, Tennessee, One Sister - Doris Stegall of Scott City, Kansas, Two Grandsons - Dathan Ault-McCoy of Seattle, Washington, Brody Stinemetz of Lincoln, Nebraska, One Granddaughter - Baylie Stinemetz of Lincoln, Nebraska. He was preceded in death by his Parents, and Two Brothers â Donald Holiman and Joe Holiman. Funeral Services will be at the First Christian Church in Scott City, Kansas, at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 2, 2009 with the Rev. Jeff Knighton presiding. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the First Christian Church % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas from 11:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, and 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
