Jason Kanak

Jason A. Kanak, age 31, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2008 as the result of an automobile accident in Scott County, Kansas. He was born on June 7, 1977 in Atwood, Kansas, the son of Joe Kanak III and Lynette Leinwetter Kanak. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 2005 moving from Hays, Kansas, he worked for Brass Tax of Scott City, Kansas as a Certified Public Accountant. Member include the United Methodist Church , United Methodist Men's Bible Study both of Scott City, Kansas and the Kansas CPA Society. On November 17, 2001 he married Lisa Jennison in Hays, Kansas. She survives. Survivors Include his Wife - Lisa Kanak of Scott City, Kansas, One Son - Jaren A. Kanak of Scott City, Kansas, Father - Joe Kanak III of Atwood, Kansas, Mother - Lynette Kanak - of Atwood, Kansas, One Sister - Linda & Ryan Bolen of Salina, Kansas, Grandparents - Ed & Eileen Leinwetter of Topeka, Kansas, and Joe & Beatrice Kanak of Atwood, Kansas, Father & Mother In Law - Dick & Diana Jennison of Healy, Kansas, Two Brother's In Laws - Brett Jennison of Healy, Kansas and Todd Jennison of Goodland, Kansas. Many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. Funeral Services will be held at the United Methodist Church in Scott City, Kansas at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, August 2, 2008 with the Rev. Dennis Carter presiding. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Memorials in Lieu of flowers may be given to the Kanak Children Education Fund % Price & Sons Funeral Home. Visitation will be at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City from 10:30 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday.
