Estie Rose

Estie J. Rose, age 81, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2009 at the Scott County Hospital in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on June 7, 1928 in Orleans, Nebraska, the daughter of Jesse Lawrence and Lazetta A. Bose Tellus. A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1930 moving from Orleans, Nebraska, she was a homemaker. On May 4, 1948 she married Gerald E. "Rosie" Rose in Liberal, Kansas. He passed away on March 1, 2001 in Scott City, Kansas. Survivors include One Son - Duane & Marilyn Rose of Lawrence, Kansas, One Daughter - Vicki & Jan Silvey of Scott City, Kansas, Four Grandchildren, Two Great Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, Three Brothers, Two Sisters and One Grandson. A private family memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials can be given Scott County Hospital % Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City. There will be no visitation.
