Erma Hoeme

Erma A. Hoeme, age 91, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2009 at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas. She was born on April 20, 1918 in Red Willow County, Nebraska, the daughter of Henry and Dorothea Wall Hofman. A resident of Scott County, Kansas since 1942 moving from McCook, Nebraska, she was a homemaker. Her memberships include the Holy Cross Lutheran Church and a local arts club both of Scott City, Kansas and The Kansas Arts Council. On September 20, 1942 she married Robert W. Hoeme Sr. in McCook, Nebraska. He passed away on July 19, 1998 in Garden City, Kansas. Survivors include her Two Sons - Allan & Anita Hoeme of Scott City, Kansas, Robert Jr. and Patti Hoeme of Scott City. Kansas, One Daughter - Karen & James Black of Centennial, Colorado, One Sister - Dorothy Malone of McCook, Nebraska, One Grandson - Craig Hoeme of Scott City, Kansas, Two Granddaughters - Courtney & Chris Peppler of Erie, Colorado, Kellie & Josh Mariea of Englewood, Colorado, One Great Granddaughter - Malia Mariea of Englewood, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her Parents, Husband, One Grandson and 15 Brothers & Sisters. Funeral Services will be held at the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Scott City, Kansas 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 27, 2009 with Pastor Warren Prochnow presiding. Interment will be in the Scott County Cemetery in Scott City, Kansas. Memorials may be given to the Holy Cross Lutheran Church in Scott City, Kansas or Park Lane Nursing Home in care of Price & Son Funeral Home in Scott City. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday and 9:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas.
