Dennis Ray Murphy

Dennis R. Murphy, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, August 16, 2022, at his home in Scott City, Kansas.  He was born on May 11, 1950, in Ransom, Kansas, the son of Robert Joseph and Betty Lee Hemel Murphy Sr.  A resident of Scott City, Kansas since 2002 moving from Northern California, he was a retired parts manager for Roto-Mix of Scott City.

Survivors include his One Son - Joseph N. Murphy of Whitehall, Montana, Five Brothers - Larry & Marlene Murphy of Scott City, Kansas, Robert & Pam Murphy of Scott City, Kansas, Charles & Gail Murphy of Scott City, Kansas, Melvin & Denise Murphy of Olathe, Kansas, Ronald Murphy of Scott City, Three Sisters  -  Kathy & Curt Lewis of Des Moines, Iowa, Susan Speer of Dighton, Kansas, Sandra Murphy of Arkansas, and Five Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his Parents, One Son -Deacon Murphy, and One Brother- Roger Murphy.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

There will be no calling times.

Inurnment will be in the Pyramid View Cemetery in Logan County, Kansas.
