Cathy Payne

Garden City, Kansas Cathy Renee Payne, age 49, died Saturday, October 3, 2009, at the St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City, Kansas. She was born November 25, 1959 in Hutchinson, Kansas the daughter of David G. and June M. Christenson Wright. A resident of Garden City since 1995 moving from Manhattan, Kansas, she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Christian Faith. On February 15, 1985 she married Reginald M. Payne in Manhattan, Kansas. He survives. Other Survivors Include: Two Sons, Andrew Allen Wright of Garden City, Kansas and Andre Eugene Wright of Garden City, Kansas; Her Mother, June Leffel of Hutchinson, Kansas; Two Brothers, David Wright of Hutchinson, Kansas and Kevin Wright of Hutchinson, Kansas; One Sister, Gayle DeBerry of Hutchinson, Kansas and Eight Grandchildren. Memorial Service will be held at 5:00pm on, Sunday, October 11, 2009 at the Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas with Chaplain Remigius Ekweariri presiding. There will be no public visitation. Interment will be held at a later date. The family requests memorials be given to the Cathy Payne Memorial Fund in care of Price & Sons Funeral Home of Garden City.
