Arnold Dean Fenton, age 67, died Thursday, July 9, 2009 at his home in Holcomb, Kansas. He was born on October 25, 1941 in Holcomb, Kansas, the son of Richard Lee and Sarah Olive Foreman Fenton. A lifetime Holcomb resident, he had worked as a truck driver for his late uncle Walter Foreman, an employee at Masonary Products, and retired after working for over 30 years for Northern Natural Gas.
He was of the Christian Faith. He enjoyed woodworking, golfing, & spending time with his grandchildren.
On April 30, 1960, he married Sharon Kay Wells @ Garden City, Kansas. She survives.
Other Survivors Include: One Son, Troy Lee ( & Denise) Fenton of Wichita, Kansas; Two Daughters, Deana Sue (& Tim) Novack of Lakin, Kansas, Janet Le (& Andrew) Smaltz of Holcomb, Kansas; Two Sisters, Wilma Solze and Delores Miller, both of Garden City, Kansas. And 8 Grandchildren, Sarah & Katie Novack, Megan Hansel and husband, Brandon, Tyler Fenton, Lyndsey & Tanner Born, and Clayton & Jeffrey Smaltz.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Marvin Fenton.
Funeral Services will be held at 10:30am on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas with Rev. Robert Nuckolls presiding.
Friends may call from 1:00-8:00pm Friday @ Price & Sons Funeral Home in Garden City, Kansas.
Interment will be held in the Valley View Cemetery in Garden City, Kansas.
