Scott City George Raymond Dearden, age 85, passed away at the Park Lane Nursing Home in Scott City, Kansas on Monday, November 7, 2005. He was born on September 26, 1920 in Scott County, Kansas, the son of George William and Leone Mae Steele Dearden. A lifetime resident of Scott County, Raymond was a farmer in the Southeast part of the county. Semi-retiring at the age of 72, he still farmed until his passing. Memberships include: Eagles Lodge # 3124 Garden City, Kansas On January 23, 1941 he married Elma Jane Beeson in Liberal, Kansas. She passed away on November 12, 1995 in Scott City, Kansas. Survivors Include: One Son Robert & Mary Dearden Scott City, Kansas One Daughter Jean Davis Kingman, Arizona Two Brothers Art Dearden Hays, Kansas Alva Dearden Scott City, Kansas One Sister Alice Burch Greensburg, Kansas 10 Grandchildren 14 Great Grandchildren 5 Great Great Grandchildren He was preceded in death by his Parents, Wife, and One Brother Leslie Dearden Funeral Services United Methodist Church - Scott City, Kansas 2:00 p.m. Thursday November 10, 2005 Minister Rev.
