Donald D. Dornon

Donald D. Dornon, age 62, passed away on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at his home in Scott City, Kansas. He was born on September 22, 1953 in Oakley, Kansas, the son of William Dornon and Martha Alice Richardson Dornon Martin Gossett. He was a resident of Scott City, Kansas since 1987 after retiring from the US Marine & US Army serving for over 19 years and was a Staff Sargent. He was a member of the VFW, American Legion, Veteran Administration, DAV. Survivors include his One Son - Arron Dornon of Watertown, South Dakota, Two Brothers - Frank Dornon of Russell, Kansas, John Martin of Saudi Arabia, Two Sisters - Joan Chenowth of Copperas Cove, Texas, Jean Ludowese of Scott City, Kansas and Five Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his Parents. Memorial Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. On Monday, August 1, 2016 at the Fort Dodge Cemetery in Fort Dodge, Kansas with Vernon Bogart presiding. Memorials may be given to the Donald Dornon Memorial Fund % Price & Sons Funeral Home in Scott City, Kansas. There will be no calling times.
